Cejay’s Struggle

Cejay Bailey is 13 years old, and recently achieved his black belt in Shotokan Karate.

From the age of 5 years, Cejay has trained with determination to get a black belt.

Cejay has worked hard to overcome his barriers. He suffered from muscle spasms, which caused serious cramps from the time he started walking. His legs were put in casts to train them to be straight.

Through all this Cejay stayed vigilant and determined and would not let his disability inhibit his goal.

His mother and his family, who are very proud of what he has achieved, have supported Cejay.

Cejay is a model student who has grown into a young teen who has respect and integrity. He is fun to be around and is loved and respected by many in his community.
